Can you believe we are at the end of August? 

For me, August is very birthday month in fact, I have FOUR birthdays within the space of five weeks!

So, as you can imagine, there has been A LOT of cake!

I’m not complaining, obviously!

 There are worse things in life than being surrounded by cake, although after birthday number four, I may need to have a little lie down!

Tomorrow we’re heading to the beautiful Turnberry Hotel for the Annual Children’s Charity Ladies Lunch!

It’s always such a glamorous occasion and one we really look forward to every year!

 Gorgeous surroundings, fabulous ladies and most importantly, supporting a wonderful charity!

Then on Saturday, we’re throwing open the doors at Ellis HQ for our Summer Open Day!

We’ll have cocktail tastings, summer vibes and, of course, a few special discounts because who doesn’t love a bargain while sipping a cocktail?

Then it’s off to the golf club…

Next Wednesday we’re heading back to Hilton Park Golf Club for their Ladies Day!

We were there a few months ago and honestly, the weather was absolutely horrendous for the ladies!

So we’re putting in a little request to the Scottish weather gods…

PLEASE LET IT BE DRY!

There are lots of medals being played for, so we’re hoping for sunshine, smiles and absolutely no sideways rain!

We get to end the month on on a high as Carol has been named as a finalist in the Scottish Women Awards  for Entrepreneur of the Year in the Food and Drink category!

The winner will be announced on the 30th of September and we couldn’t be more excited for her!

Then somehow, it’s September…

Honestly, I feel like we blinked and lost three months!
